Tere Hubler is a life-long student of ballet and movement with over 35 years of experience. In her earliest years, she studied Cecchetti Ballet with Les Cher Ballet Academy and also at the North Carolina School of the Arts. After a semi-professional dance career with Ballet Theater of Maryland under the direction of Edward Stewart in the 1980's, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Maryland in 1989. Tere danced again with the Southern Maryland Modern Dance Collective from 2004-2005, during which time Pilates came into her life. Always eager to learn more about movement, she began her teacher training. Tere went on to earn certification as a Peak PilateSystem-Professional Comphensive teacher. This is the highest Peak PilateSystem certification, requiring a minimum of 476 hour program with successful assessment on the Mat, Reformer, Tower, Chairs, Barrels and auxiliary equipment. Tere brings a level of expertise that only experience can build.
