Angie Jonsson earned her Master's degree in Health Science with an emphasis on Sports Medicine, is a certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine, and holds a STAR III Lifetime Certification in Spinning. A mother of four, her personal fitness journey began shortly after her first child was born with a shift in attitude and mindset that led to the release of 130 pounds and a new career.
Now, with over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, Angie applies her extensive knowledge of personal training and exercise prescription to a diverse population of clients ranging from cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients to student athletes. Her approach to fitness offers the opportunity to make sustainable and meaningful changes with the appropriate balance of strength, cardiovascular and flexibility training that lead to long-term weight loss, improved metabolic function and decreased stress.
Currently Angie is enrolled in Kundalini Yoga teacher training and brings a taste of her experience with chant and breathwork to her stretch classes at Breathe!
